Great date ideas? Thinking romantic and out of the box.?
O.k, so I have this lady friend who I like. We started to go out, but jobs have interfered and things have been set back. I worry that the lack of interaction, and the boring times we do get together are going to make her change her mind about me, so I want to take her on an amazing date. I want some new, yet moderately romantic ideas that will really make her have a good time. Not just a dinner and a movie, something unique, but I can’t think of much. Got any ideas?

A picnic in the park?
A carnival?
Why not make it romantic and fun at the same time? how about packing a picnic and going to a local park or along a lake or river and sharing a nice picnic. Afterwards take a walk and then go mini-golfing and for ice cream. It is a great combination of everything!
cover urself with whipped cream…then casually walk over to the table and sit down…then look her in the eyes…and say.."i thought we should start off with dessert first…grrrrrrrr.."…lol…if she doesn’t like it..look on the bright side i’ll be down the street covered in chocolate sauce..and we can make a sundae together….ahahahahah….
It all depends on your resources (money, transportation, etc.). But:
Maybe going for a drive and having a picnic in a really nice, quiet spot? Try bringing not only food, but a portable CD player and having some nice background music. One idea could be to recreate the conventional restaurant scene, with candles and music and fancy dishes, but outside. If someone took me on a date like that, that would be awesome!!!
Dinner prepared by you at your house. An old B&W movie in the dark. Then a suprise visit outside to look up at the stars in your backyard.
Shamalama. Perfect date.
idk how set you are money wise but a kinda expsensive way is to rent one of those big boats and have a romantic candle lit dinner made by you (if u can cook) with a nice wine of some kind. or if you dont have a great amount of money you could find a big weeping willow tree and have a nice picnic
Depending on how much money you have to spend on this date there are many options. If you want to pull out all the stops and show her an amazing and unique but pricey time consider taking her on a hot air balloon ride. Expect to pay about $195 per person. If you book your ride on-line you can usually save about 20 dollars per person. These rides aren’t private charter (meaning there are other people on the ride) so they aren’t like proposal romantic but they generally do serve champagne on board at no extra cost to you! If money is tighter look for concerts in your local parks. Many parks hold summer concerts that are free or somewhere around $5 a person. To add to the date you could pack a picnic dinner and dance under the stars to some obscure local band at a very minimal cost! Is she into art or history? Take her to a local museum and read up on the things that are being showcased so you have lots to talk about! Minor league sporting events are always fun even if you aren’t into sports the atmosphere is somewhat magical and lots of fun… you can get great seats for around $10, buy a bag of popcorn and two drinks and you are set for the night for less than $25! So many options no matter how big or small your wallet is. E-mail me if you want more ideas!
