Okay I’m going to ask my girlfriend to marry me. She indicated to me that a marriage proposal should be romantic. I agree and I want to make this memorable for both of us. Unfortunantely we’re not in the position to take any trips or vacations so that idea is out. Also I know she doesn’t want to be asked in a restaurant so that idea is out as well. I need your help! Tell me what a women finds romantic….I have some ideas but I need more!

I’m hoping this dynamic community can help me with a marriage proposal. I’m 26 years old and am planning on proposing marriage to my 24-year-old girlfriend sometime soon. We have been dating for 5 years now, and everything is ready. I bought the ring and everything.

But I’m having a hard time coming up with a creative, yet meaningful, marriage proposal. I dont want to just take her out to dinner and get down on one knee - I want it to be more special and meaningful to her than that. She doesnt have that many outside hobbies, so I cant play off of that.

The one thing we do have in common is where we met - at college (which is 500 miles away from where we live now). But I cant think of anything creative to do there….

Any ideas for this helpless guy? Thank you in advance!
